We listen, act, and transform
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I work extensively with children, adolescents, families, and adults. My approach is warm, authentic, and direct, with a focus on pragmatic solutions rooted in compassion and empathy.
My goal is to help individuals understand themselves and others better, improve communication, and heal from painful emotions, relationships, and experiences. I am trained to treat psychological disorders like anxiety, depression, OCD, and complicated grief, often using cognitive behavioral therapy, skills training, and stress management.
I believe in acknowledging emotions with compassion, working towards acceptance, and reconciling our needs with reality. I find that deep acceptance can often lead to peace. I aim to help people navigate through life’s pains and uncertainties with more ease.
If suitable, I incorporate spiritual aspects into my work, focusing on the mind, body, and soul. I am always learning and striving for self-improvement, which I hope benefits others.
People who know me would say I’m a down-to-earth introvert who loves children, dogs, plants, nature, and is fascinated by the human spirit.
In terms of child and adolescent referrals, I work with children from preschool age and beyond. I believe in the power of family therapy combined with parent education and support. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, understanding their unique challenges and gifts due to their developmental, social, and physical changes.
